Styling your Baby Bump

POSTED June 12th, 2015

Pregnancy is an amazing time of life and you no-doubt want to look just as good on the outside as you are feeling on the inside. That being said, being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style for comfort. As an expecting mother myself, I believe that the two are interchangeable and with the right amount of forethought you can look just as gorgeous during your pregnancy as you did before your growing baby bump. A great pair of skinny, white maternity jeans from Gap are a summer essential that can be paired with a variety of tops from classic tee’s to this beautiful, generously-proportioned blouse from Artizia. What will you wear to your baby shower luncheon? While the pickings can be slim for feminine, sophisticated maternity wear, why not broaden your scope and look for full and flowing shaped non-maternity dresses such as these stunners from BCBG.  When it comes to footwear, comfort does tend to rule, especially with the back pain commonly associated with pregnancy. However, for those special occasions or even date night, try wearing a neutral, chunky-heel sandal that will add sophistication to your look, and keep you safe and stable at the same time.

Have fun dressing the bump!
