Charitable Organizations Program
For a good cause…
With so many people walking through our halls, it’s no wonder many charities have set up at Mapleview to raise money and awareness. Read on and find out how your charitable group can too.
Who can use the charitable locations?
Mapleview offers free space to charitable organizations for the purposes of fundraising or promotion of a fundraising event. All groups are eligible as long as they are a legitimate charitable group and are able to provide a government-sanctioned charitable number. The location must be used solely for fund-raising and information awareness activities. We have a Community Kiosk, located on the upper level, that is available to the groups.
How to get the process started?
Space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis only. We must receive your request, in writing, at least two weeks in advance. If your request is approved, your organization will be required to complete a Temporary Occupancy Agreement and must supply a certificate of insurance for $2 million liability and a lottery license if operating a lottery. Charities must also agree to abide by our standard rules and regulations.
