Reports To: Store Manager
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a memorable shopping experience in jewelry & luxury watches retail environment.
The role involves assisting customers in selecting their precious jewelry/time piece, providing product knowledge, maintaining store presentation, and achieving sales goals while upholding the brand’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Sales: Actively engage customers to promote jewelry products, up-sell and cross-sell items, and meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of luxury products, including materials (e.g., gold, silver, gemstones), craftsmanship, and brand-specific details. Educate customers on product features, care and warranties.
• Store Presentation: Ensure displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing, and maintaining a tidy sales floor
• Transaction Processing: Handle sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, process payments, and assist with returns or exchanges per store policies.
• Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and foster brand loyalty.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts whenever tasked
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve store objectives, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Security and Loss Prevention: Follow store opening and closing procedures to safeguard high-value inventory, monitor for suspicious activity, and ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Experience: Previous retail or sales experience preferred, ideally in jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods.
• Skills:
◦ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
◦ Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a customer-first mindset.
◦ Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating discounts.
◦ Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
◦ Attention to detail and ability to handle delicate, high-value items with care.

• Hourly wage or salary, supplemented by commission (after probation period)
