Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining operational excellence. Bilingual abilities and expertise in merchandising, marketing, and administrative functions are highly valued to support diverse customer needs and enhance store performance.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, POS transactions, inventory management, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals; monitor sales performance and adjust plans accordingly.
Manage purchasing decisions, inventory levels, and product displays to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints effectively, and foster positive relationships with clients to promote loyalty.
Conduct marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones through promotional activities and community engagement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations; oversee store cleanliness and organization.
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, organizational skills, time management, and leadership qualities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with demonstrated success in sales management and team leadership.
Proven experience in Luxury and Jewelry retail operations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and basic math skills.
Experience in merchandising, marketing strategies, purchasing, budgeting, training & development, and supervising staff.
Demonstrated ability to recruit talent through effective interviewing techniques; skilled in supervising teams to achieve goals.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Knowledge of retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and administrative processes related to retail operations.
